We had our meeting for our Idioms pieces on April 14. Since part of the fun was to guess what the idioms were, I'll just post the pieces here and let you figure them out for yourselves! I'll post the results in the future.
Steph
paper and ink on cardboard
(nice volume on this side of the piece!)
HINT: this piece covers not one, two, or even three idioms, but four!
Derende
pastel, colored pencil, and ink on textured paper
HINT: this one is easy.
Anne
watercolor, newsprint, and ink
Gadget
ink and watercolor pencil on paper
Those of your familiar with Gadget's work know that this one is viewer-interactive. It took us a few minutes working together to figure it out.
Kent
The next meeting will be on June 9, and the topic is Tea. See you then!
Bonus picture - I had to research idioms to figure out which one to work on. My list was on the long side.
SPOILER ALERT! I am going to tell all but 2 of Steph's idioms, and I'm not going to share Gadget's. Y'all gotta work for it.
ReplyDelete2 of Steph's 4:
Holy Cow
Sacred Cow
guess that was not correct: 2-Buck Chuck.
Derende's: a piece of cake
Anne's: a cup of joe
Kent: cutting the cheese
